The recent spate of security incidences and disturbances brought the Residents Community together on 14 August 2008 to discuss how we can improve the safety of Greenlane. One of the immediate actions would be to put the current security service provider on a one month close watch, with the expectation of improved performance. The second action would be to step up security participation and collection amongst residents. Security matters are frequently discussed on the website, so do join in the debate and problem solving at http://greenlane.bukitjelutong.net/.

Anjung bambu - indonesian food restaurant
Submitted by TheFazz on 18 August 2008 - 8:29pm.last night we had dinner at the newest makan place in Bukit Jelutong. Located at D'Pangkin and above the Spice Gardens, Anjung Bambu is an indonesian food restaurant.
My first impression was that the place was not very obvious as the signage was merely a banner and the entrance to the restaurant is through a small side door off Spice Gardens. Inside, the restaurant was nothing special except for the nice balcony area. Naturally we chose the balcony area for our dinner, and enjoyed the cool night breeze.
